Stefano Bertacchini - D.O.P
Stefano Bertacchini graduated in 1991 as Cameraman from Milano Centro per le Tecniche Cinetelevisive. He moved to Amsterdam in 1992 and since than he has been working as a freelance cinematographer.
He has shot many documentaries for Dutch broadcasters and independent producers; among them Dreaming by Numbers (Dir.Anna Bucchetti) which won several international prizes and earned an EFA Nomination as Best European documentary in 2006.
In 2007 he has shot the short film RESTA (Dir. Anna Bucchetti) which won at the San Francisco Film Festival, Best Foreign Drama in 2008 and Tulip Time (Dir. Marco de Stefanis) awarded Best television film at the Jewish Eye Film Festival. In 2009 he shot and co-directed the documentary Trademark 2010 about the soccer world cup in South Africa.
