Narrative Feature Film Competition

Rana Farhan, the wonderful Iranian Jazz singer, who had lend her voice to the ending title of Dance Iranian Style was among the audience at the screening of Dance Iranian Style in New York. She was introduced to the audience by the director and applauded by the enthusiastic public during the Q&A that followed the screening. A reception, offered by the cultural department of the Dutch Consulate at NY--represented by Vera Kuipers--, has been held after the screening and Q&A, in honour of the presence of the two Dutch film productions at the SR Film Festival, including Dance Iranian Style and a journalistic reportage of the Dutch TV program Radar.
